Knowsley Chamber of Commerce Dispute Resolution Service
The aim of the service is to offer local businesses an alternative method of resolving disputes quickly and inexpensively, and without going to court. The cost and delay associated with resolving disputes via court is explored in more detail in this article. Chamber members have access to a discounted mediation service for disputes up to a value of £50,000.00. These disputes will include:-
- business to business disputes
- business to consumer disputes
- business & employee disputes
Chamber members are also eligible for a 10% discount on mediation fees for disputes over £50,000. Ultimately we would like to see Merseyside become a market leader in its use of mediation for the wider benefit of the local economy.

As part of your membership ie. No additional cost, there is unlimited advice line access to experienced tax and VAT advisors – available during office hours. Insurance cover to deal with a full HMRC enquiry, aspect enquiries, PAYE disputes and VAT disputes
