Pixus Realises Expansion Plans with Help from Knowsley Growth Hub

Local business Pixus is going from strength to strength with investment from the Knowsley Growth Hub.

Director Darren Cook originally contacted the Knowsley Growth Hub to access free accountancy support via the Business Growth Programme. Pixus had formed as a result of a merger between two local digital and creative businesses run by Directors Darren Cook and Dan Corlett. Accessing the support helped to ensure a smooth transition to the Pixus brand.

The Knowsley Growth Hub were able to provide Pixus with free Finance Consultancy, Darren Cook said “The Knowsley Growth Hub helped Pixus at different stages of our development; the specialist one to one consultancy really helped us navigate the transition into one organisation”.

Pixus also needed assistance to realise their future expansion plans. The company had utilised all the available space within their current office and wished to grow into the neighbouring unit. Dan and Darren were confident that the creation of a new office space, new staff facilities and a reception area would enable them to continue to expand its already very successful operation and engage with new clients.

The new unit required extensive refurbishment works to make the space fit for purpose, the Knowsley Growth Hub were able to provide financial support via the Knowsley Business Grant to enable Pixus to realise their expansion plans.

Darren said “The Knowsley Business Grant has really helped finance the improvement works at our premises. With this support we have managed to expand and improve our unit to not only accommodate our existing staff but also allow for space for new team members. We are already in the process of creating two new creative jobs here in Knowsley”.
