A10 Facility Solutions

A10 Facility Solutions was formed after leaving my last long term position. I have over forty years experience in industry and I decided that I wanted to continue to put the knowledge and skills to good use by helping other businesses.

My experience and skills evolved within an engineering/manufacturing environment; gained through a number of roles, ranging from electrical engineering, electrical draughting, maintenance management, production management and latterly facilities management.

In my previous roles, I have participated and lead numerous improvement projects. Projects involving industrial waste management and stream-lining, warehouse reorganisation/relocation, demolition of aged site buildings, machine installation/relocation/modernisation, retro-fit of purpose built administration offices and customer training centre, space lighting improvement/energy reduction, space heating efficiency upgrades/improvements, environment, safety and energy auditing. Health, safety and environment have always been at the forefront of my projects.

I believe that the savings recovered from energy and waste reduction are self-evident for any company. I am passionate about the environment and enthusiastic, dedicated and determined about continual improvement in business and ‘change for the better’.

I have acted as a Green Ambassador for Knowsley Chamber of Commerce, helping them to promote the economic and social benefits of adopting a low carbon strategy and sharing best practice within industry and commerce.

My personal advice for any company, large or small, new or old, would be to join your local Chamber of Commerce and participate fully. They have long established business links and great contacts and are always there to help and advise.
