Award Winning Spa launches Centre of Excellence

The Team at Chill Out Training and Enterprise celebrate as the award-winning spa launches its exciting new venture for budding therapists.

The multi award-winning Chill Out Spa has applied its knowledge and expertise to the introduction of a brand new training site, located next to the popular spa in the grounds of Knowsley Hall, Merseyside.

The purpose built beauty and spa therapy college offers a wide range of courses and qualifications for those wanting to progress in the beauty industry - whether a novice to the profession or an existing therapist wishing to update their skill set.

Over 200 people attended the official launch over the weekend, as Chill Out Training and Enterprise (COTE) threw open its doors to potential students.

The stunning location has been a pull for many of the celebrity clients at Chill Out Spa - secluded in the gated grounds of the magnificent Knowsley Hall - so what better place for students to learn essential skills and qualifications, with access to learning within a spa environment?

Chill Out Spa has been awarded several accolades over recent years, and it is the spa's commitment to delivering exceptionally high standards that has earned it high regard across the industry in the UK.

MD, Sharon Carroll, explains: "Ever since Chill Out Spa opened, I had hoped to one day follow it with a facility for learning. We're delighted to start 2012 with the launch of Chill Out Training and Enterprise and hope to inspire, motivate and guide many students over the coming years.

"Our courses range from refresher days for existing therapists hoping to pick up new skills, and also for those wishing to embark on a career in the industry. Our facilities are purpose built to provide students with the opportunity to experience working within a spa environment, as well learning the essential theory required for their chosen qualification."

COTE coincided the launch with the announcement of its newest appointment, make-up artist, Kate Smith. Kate is a highly sought-after professional - regularly working backstage for a host of stars. Kate - who trained at a BAFTA award-winning make-up school - holds contracts with the BBC, ITV and a selection of high-end fashion retailers. Her experience and expertise will be a tremendous asset to the new training college, and students will have the opportunity to learn from the best.

The courses - including a wide choice of nail, make-up, tanning, waxing, spa and facial therapy qualifications - run all year round, unlike conventional college courses. There are no term breaks and COTE also offers monthly enrolment opportunities - meaning students could become a fully qualified beauty spa therapist sooner than they think, without compromising the quality of training.
