Business Travel in Knowsley
Organisations that encourage their staff to travel sustainably (by bus, train, walking, cycling or car sharing) can see huge benefits organisationally, financially and also in terms of staff retention and reducing sickness absence.
For example, more staff cycling, walking or taking the bus means
less pressure on limited car parking space. Regular walkers
and cyclists are much less likely to take time off sick than people
who don't exercise, and certain initiatives (Cycle to Work, pool
bikes and pool cars) have the potential to save money for the
employer, the employee or both.
There are now two dedicated Business Travel
Advisors, one based in Knowsley Chamber of
Commerce and one in Knowsley Council, who
