Award winning TV chef and broadcaster Andi Oliver will host this year’s Liverpool City Region Tourism Awards.
Taking place at Liverpool Cathedral on 16 May, the black-tie award ceremony recognises excellence across the city region’s tourism and hospitality industry.
Andi Oliver has had a rich and varied career with food and music being at the forefront throughout. A regular face on BBC TV and one of the three main judges on the Great British Menu, Andi is also an integral part of the Saturday Kitchen team as both host and guest chef.
Andi commented: “I am delighted to be hosting the Liverpool City Region Tourism Awards 2019 in such a spectacular setting.
“I have very recently visited this wonderful city cooking with the amazing people who live and work here. So, I’ve seen for myself how the vibrant and varied tourism and hospitality industry across the region is thriving. These awards provide an excellent opportunity to celebrate this success. I am really looking forward to meeting all the award winners.”
With 17 awards to present, this year’s awards ceremony is set be one of the best yet as businesses across the City Region continue to raise the bar.
