Applied Nutrition, one of Europe’s fastest growing sports nutrition, health & wellness brands, is pleased to announce the appointment of Marnie Millard OBE as an Independent Non-Executive Director (NED), effective immediately.
Marnie brings a wealth of FMCG experience and a proven track record in leadership and business development, having been Group Chief Executive for Nichols PLC, the company behind the iconic Vimto brand, from 2013 to 2020.
Since then, Marnie has secured a portfolio of impressive NED positions, currently holding the position of Chair at UA92, Pura, and Marks Electrical PLC, and serving as a Non-Executive Director for Belvoir Fruit Farms. Her previous roles include Chair of the Board at Kidly Ltd and Non-Executive Director for Finsbury Food Group PLC.
Marnie is also a Fellow of the Society of Leadership Fellows at St George’s House and a Board Mentor at Critical Eye, an organisation dedicated to supporting leaders and executives. Additionally, she served as Chair for the CBI in the North West for three years and was an Advisor to the Board of International Trade. In 2018, Marnie was honoured with an OBE in the Queen’s Birthday Honours for her outstanding contributions to International Trade and Business in the North West.
Marnie’s appointment follows the appointment of Andy Bell CBE as Applied Nutrition’s Chairman in February 2024.
