It has been a busy year for the team at Central Group. This month we have taken a quick look at Central Groups latest adventures as the company looks to continue its growth into 2020…
Knowsley based Central Group have been one of most active Chamber Members on Twitter this year. They have set a new challenge for themselves to Tweet something new about their business activities every day. This push on social media is raising their profile and also highlights some of the great work their employees are getting involved in.

“We’ve been on site at a windfarm in Scotland carrying out up-tower tests on wind generators. This is a really niche capability requiring specialist training and equipment, and it means that we are able to provide a full condition report on the generators without going through the expensive process of bringing them down.
This saves thousands of pounds. It’s a great job for us, and we’re pleased to be able to contribute towards green energy.”
“We’ve just been to Helsinki in Finland as guests of global megabrand ABB.
This was to provide us with ‘Partner Expert’ training in order to better service our customers, and means that we’ll be able to offer more technical support with ABB Products.”
We’ve had great success supporting a massive supply ship docked in Montrose. We did a weekend breakdown service on a 2 megawatt inverter getting it back up and running. We were on site on behalf of one of our network partners proving that collaboration is a driver for success in modern industry.
We have developed a new alliance/partnership with UPS manufacturer Riello. We are now stockists and distributors for their UPS systems and it’s something that we’re really proud of. We’ve serviced UPS’ for a long time, but this alliance signals another link in the drive chain which can be looked after by us.
