Everton in the Community is now working alongside Queen’s Award Winners Roberts Recycling LTD on a new textile collection scheme.
Fans can now support Everton in the Community by having their good quality unwanted clothes, shoes and accessories collected from their home or workplace by Roberts Recycling. The items are then exported to provide alternatives to new clothes in countries that are less developed than the UK.
For every tonne of clothing recycled, Everton in the Community will receive a £250 donation which will be channelled towards its People’s Place campaign to build a purpose-built mental health facility in the L4 area, providing an overarching service to anyone to promote positive mental health alongside support related to suicide awareness and/or suicide prevention.
