Jaguar Land Rover currently has three manufacturing facilities in the UK including the award winning Halewood Operations in the Liverpool City Region.

Jaguar Cars, founded in 1922, is one of the world’s premier manufacturers of luxury saloons and sports cars. Land Rover has been manufacturing 4x4s since 1948. Its products have defined the segments in which they operate.

The Jaguar Land Rover business employs over 24,000 talented and passionate employees in the UK, but supports over 170,000 jobs in total (through direct employment; dealers; suppliers & the broader dependent economy). The company currently has nine vehicle lines, designed, engineered and manufactured in the UK, which sell across 177 countries.

The Jaguar XF, XJ and XK models are manufactured at the company’s Castle Bromwich plant in Birmingham, UK, while the Range Rover Evoque and Land Rover Freelander 2 are built at the Halewood plant in Liverpool, UK. Land Rover’s Defender, Discovery 3, Range Rover Sport and Range Rover models are all built at Solihull, UK.

Jaguar Land Rover is the only volume manufacturer of premium/luxury vehicles in the UK.
