The Manufacturing Technology Centre acts as a centre of expertise and advice/guidance on improving productivity and efficiency from quick win techniques right through to reviewing new technology options and contributing our expertise in areas such as robotics and automation.
We are unique in that we house a great variety of automations systems to demonstrate but we don’t sell systems so we act as an independent advice centre.
We have a very experienced team to directly assist manufacturers/assemblers/engineers to:
- Improve manufacturing operation efficiency (all aspects of quality, cost, delivery improvements, utilisation)
- Help and guide to adopt the test manufacturing technologies, using the facilities available in our extensive workshop including digital engineering
- De-risk investment in new product introduction, calling on the 1-100 production facilities in our Product Manufacturing Incubator
The Manufacturing Technology Centre (MTC) Liverpool is launching a brand new initiative, in partnership with the Liverpool City Region Combined Authority, that brings world leading manufacturing research, technology and experts together.
The £15 million funded programme aims to accelerate the implementation of innovative physical and digital manufacturing technologies into UK manufacturing and supply chains.
Based in the heart of Liverpool, the project will build a state-of-the-art re-configurable factor, with digital and physical test bed, to support local manufacturing businesses and provide new high value engineering jobs and apprenticeships.
The facility will utilise cutting-edge equipment, software and expertise to support organisations with the research and development of their products, manufacturing processes and technology.
