Stagecoach Merseyside and South Lancashire

Stagecoach Bus is one of the region’s major employers, supporting approximately 1,200 jobs in the Merseyside, Cheshire and South Lancashire region.

Stagecoach Merseyside, Cheshire and South Lancashire’s head office is based at the company’s Gillmoss depot on the East Lancashire Road in Knowsley. Within this region the company operates over 400 buses, with over 45 million passenger journeys made on Stagecoach MSCL vehicles in the last year.

Bus routes operated by Stagecoach MCSL that include Knowsley are the 17, 19, 217, 227, 97, 98, 14A, 10A, 20, 21 and the X3.

A pioneering Business Alliance agreement was signed by Stagecoach MCSL in September 2016 along with Arriva and Merseytravel. The Liverpool City Region Bus Alliance pledges a range of initiatives including a commitment to invest into the fleet and partner on on-bus cleaning, customer service training and marketing campaigns.
