One year on from our last ‘in-person’ Knowsley Women in Business event at Knowsley Hall we are coming together again to celebrate International Women’s Day (which falls on 08 March 2021).
Although we still can’t meet face-to-face we were so thrilled and encouraged by the amazing turnout for our WiB network event in January that we have decided to host our signature WiB event on-line again to ensure we all keep in touch and continue to network our way out of this pandemic.
On 12 March we have ‘lined-up’ a pair of great speakers who know a thing or two about ‘goals’. Kim Healey from Everton Football Club will talk to us about people and workplace wellbeing. Then Vicky Jaycock from Liverpool Football Club will talk to us about the club’s staff-led gender equality group Unity Collective, its strategy, its activity around IWD and the impact its having and its context in the club’s Red Together strategy.
We will also have time for a short WiB themed online poll, a full debate and Q&A plus we will hold our famous International Women’s Day raffle. Your attendance will act as your raffle ticket.
For many the lockdown has been tough, however, we want the WiB network to remain up-beat and positive.
