Mental Health First Aid (MHFA) is an internationally recognised training course which teaches people how to spot the signs and symptoms of mental ill health and provide help on a first aid basis.
MHFA won’t teach you to be a therapist, but just like physical first aid, it will teach you to listen, reassure and respond, even in a crisis. Adult MHFA courses are for everyone aged 16 upwards.
Imagine’s MHFA course is delivered by a quality assured instructor who has attended the MHFA Instructor Training programme accredited by the Royal Society for Public Health.
The full courses are done over 1 day and 2 days but on #WorldMentalHealthDay Knowsley Chamber and Working Well has teamed up with Imagine Independence to provide a half day taster session. Each delegate will be provided with a certificate and resources to take back to the workplace and help de-stigmatise mental health.
The half day session costs just £15.00 per delegate (only ONE delegate per company). The session will run from 9am to 1pm with a 20min coffee break). Tea/Coffee on arrival with a prompt start at 9am.
