The Government has announced that businesses in the hospitality and leisure sectors may be able to claim a grant of up to £6,000 per eligible property. For these purposes, the Government has defined hospitality as accommodation, food and beverage services.
These grants are expected to be a ‘one-off’ payment and the value of the grant will be based on the rateable value of the premises that the ratepayer occupies. Information regarding the amounts potentially available to eligible ratepayers is detailed below:

It was also stated by the Government that further discretionary funding will be made available to provide Additional Restrictions Grants to other businesses. All grants will be subject to subsidy control allowances.
