We wanted to share with you details of an exciting new graduate scheme for the Liverpool City Region.
Funded by the European Social Fund (ESF) and run by a Project Team based at the University of Liverpool and Edge Hill, the chief aim of the LCR Grad Scheme is to create a strong pipeline of graduates into local SME’s, retaining graduate talent in the Liverpool City Region.
We will be the first fully-operational graduate recruitment and development programme for the entire City Region, and one that stands out as a national example of post-Covid recovery initiatives.
In short, the funding and the Project Team will support SMEs with the attraction, recruitment and early-career development of a graduate. Applicants for the graduate scheme will receive training post-offer, but also pre-application guidance to improve performance throughout the recruitment process.
