The Forshaw Group provides an end-to-end building repair service for all domestic, commercial, retail and social housing insurance claims. Since moving to Knowsley in 2017, The Forshaw Group have truly embraced getting involved with Knowsley borough, and their input to the Working Well programme is no exception. They offered support and guidance with quitting smoking for their staff, and most recently have put on a ‘Working Well Together’ day, which focused on physical activity, healthy eating and promoting a team spirit. This included 20-minute sessions per employee to cycle the equivalent of their offices in Kirkby to London while fundraising for the British Heart Foundation.
After the employee’s had taken part with their 20-minute ride, everyone was given a goodie-bag with a variety of fruit, water bottles and a fitness watch that can be used to continue the healthy attitude in the workplace and monitor their activity. The Forshaw Group also hope to get involved with the This Girl Can national campaign, getting the women in the workplace active and thinking about ways to get involved.
