Ins-pire Academy set to inspire through virtual training

Chamber Board Member, Liam Hanlon, managing director of The Forshaw Group, is proud to support the INS-pire Academy, which will be launching the first of its new open days, on a virtual platform, on 10 December 2020.

Aimed at inspiring the next generation of apprentices with trade opportunities to develop their careers, The INS-Pire Academy attracts, trains and retains talented people into skilled trades such as joinery, decorating, plastering, loss adjusting, restoration and building engineering.

The first virtual open day will be addressing the ongoing challenge of skills shortages across construction industry, from plumbing to electrical work and more.

Recently, The Forshaw Group assisted nine new Year 11 apprentices from All Saints Secondary School, in Kirkby, Liverpool into roles across Knowsley. The INS-pire Academy is supporting these apprentices throughout their chosen vocational qualifications.

Liam Hanlon, regional contact across Merseyside and the surrounding areas for the INS-pire Academy, and managing director at The Forshaw Group, explained: “The INS-pire Academy is providing a positive contribution to the well-being of our business, the industry and our wider community.

“We have more open days and training events are planned throughout 2021 and we hope to resume these as live events as soon as we are able. These will include community involvement programmes and adventure challenge days for our current and upcoming apprentices to look forward to and learn from.”

The Forshaw Group is a property restoration specialist, working closely with insurance companies and loss adjusters to renovate commercial and residential property damaged by fire or flood.
