The 25th Liverpool ECHO Regional Business Awards took place in June honouring the achievements of businesses of all sizes from across the Liverpool City Region. In total, 12 awards were presented on the night including success for two Knowsley Chamber members.
The glittering event took place on June 20 at the magnificent Liverpool Cathedral. ECHO Editor-in-Chief Alastair Machray, said: “Fittingly for our 25th year we have had a rich crop of entries, both in terms of quality and quantity, which, in itself, speaks glowingly of the business acumen, enterprise and at times resilience that is obvious and evident in this very special region.”
Flying the flag for Knowsley on the night was Blends Ltd, based in Prescot, who picked up the Business of the Year (51 to 250 employees). This win was swiftly followed by success for two Knowsley Chamber members. StedyChefs Learning Centre who picked up the Corporate Social Responsibility Award and Walton Flooring Centre who picked up the Judges’ Choice Award.
StedyChefs, Director, Stephen Bygrave, said: “Being nominated as a Finalist for the Regional Business Awards is amazing, but our name being called up as a winner was phenomenal. Not only for our business, it is a gratitude towards our staff, parents, carers and supporters who have followed us since the beginning. Most importantly, this award is a huge recognition for our students and all the hard work that they have put in over the past two years at StedyChefs Learning Centre. We couldn’t be prouder.”
