Local All Saints pupil seeing support for engineering project

We don’t normally push out individual requests for sponsorship but this request from a local 13 year old student was so well presented that we thought we would put it out there.

28th January 2020

Dear Sir \ Madam,

My name is Shaun Napier and I am 13 years old. My role is Financial Manager for the Wildcats, A 4×4 Land Rover In Schools technology challenge team.

We are based in Kirkby, and we are all pupils from All Saints Catholic High School. We have six team members and have designed and made a 4×4 rc car, produced a 20 page portfolio of work and produced a 10 minute presentation. The competition requires us as a team to seek local sponsorship. This has proved extremely challenging up to now.

We have just recently won the best track performance and 2nd place overall at the North-West of England Regional finals qualifying us for the National Finals on the 23rd and 24th of March 2020. If we win the national final we qualify to represent the UK at the world finals later this year.

The national final is a two-day event and will be livestreamed on YouTube at landrover4x4inschools. Your logo will be displayed on our new car and our pit display, we would also have a descriptive paragraph of your company.

If you would kindly sponsor us to help us get to the National Final at the Jaguar Land Rover visitor centre. We will help to promote your company in return for a donation towards our travel and accommodation. If you would like to speak to the team or meet us and see our work and presentation please reply to this email with a contact name and number and we will be happy to call you to set up a meeting.

Thank you for reading my letter.

Regards
Shaun Napier
