The Momentum Group has donated to the LCR Cares COVID-19 Community Support Fund. Established just two years ago, The Momentum Group very quickly set up a Foundation to support local communities and voluntary organisations working with the hard to reach.
The Momentum Group is a leading SME supporting the LCR Cares Fund’s ambition to generate £1million to help community and voluntary organisations on the frontline in the Liverpool City Region. The Momentum Foundation established in 2019, was a priority for co-founders Chris Bliss and Chris Renshaw, and securing the support of the Community Foundation for Lancashire and Merseyside ensured the management of the funds for community activity.
Chris Bliss, Co-Founder and Director of The Momentum Group said, “Given the current pandemic, we recognise that a lot of people need additional support and the LCR Cares Fund is ideal to ensure the monies donated are channelled to the community and volunteer workers on the frontline.” He went on to say, “We have worked with the Community Foundation for Lancashire and Merseyside since inception and have already committed to other projects to support the community. It is with their support that we have been able to make this contribution.”
Chris Renshaw, Co-founder and Director added “We believe all businesses, whether large or small, should support their local community – a way to give back and create a better environment for all and one way to start would be with the LCR Cares Fund.”

They can also play a vital role in the strength of their local community. The Momentum Group, in establishing the Momentum Foundation and donating from it to the LCR Cares COVID-19 Community Support Fund, are demonstrating a real commitment to both those aims.
