Chamber member, Maxwell Hodge has been shortlisted for the Law Society “Excellence in Pro Bono” award for its work in the community.
Access to justice is a vital part of society and of the job that lawyers, do. As a business, which operates in Knowsley, Liverpool and on the Wirral, and the majority of whose clients are local to those areas, it is important to Maxwell Hodge that they work to ensure that all people, wherever possible, are able to access legal advice.
For a number of years now the firm have been assisting at Law Clinics and through the city’s 4 major universities, together with University of Chester. Although, since March, they have not been able to sit and talk to those who attend for advice, wherever possible they continue to provide the service via Zoom.
