The Pam Rigby Memorial Trophy Charity Golf Day

Knowsley Chamber is supporting our Chamber Members, Rigby Financial and Roy Castle Lung Cancer Foundation with their Memorial Charity Golf Day.

We would welcome any Chamber members to support the event with a raffle prize donation or enter a team for what should be a great day…

Simon and Andrew from Rigby Financial have sent this personal invitation to us to share with Knowsley Chamber Members:…

Dear Knowsley Chamber & Members,

We are pleased to announce that, following the cancellation of last year’s Charity Golf Day due to the Covid pandemic, this year’s event will take place on Thursday 30 September at Grange Park Golf Club, St Helens.

As many of you will be aware, we lost our mum Pam to lung cancer just before the start of the pandemic last year.  For this reason we have again chosen the Roy Castle Lung Cancer Foundation to be the chosen beneficiary for the 3rd year running. The Foundation leads the way in funding research to prevent this awful disease in addition to providing support to people with lung cancer and to help support the families of these patients.

Whilst the past year has been a very stressful time for all of us, we are going to make sure that this year’s event is a truly celebratory day.

The cost of a four ball will be £260.  This includes a bacon roll, tea or coffee on arrival and a three course evening meal with presentation after the competition.

Hole sponsorship is £100 and we would of course welcome any donations of prizes for the day.

The format is a Texas Scramble with a shotgun start at 12pm with nearest the pin and longest drive competitions. We will also be holding a silent auction with sporting memorabilia.

If you would like to participate either by entering a team or sponsoring the event then please contact:

Claire Kelly, Corporate Partnership Manager, claire.kelly@roycastle.org or 0333 323 7200 or 07939 696594.

We hope that you will be able to support our event and we look forward to hopefully seeing you on what promises to be a fun day for all involved

Simon and Andrew Rigby
