Public Transport Information for Businesses

We have been contacted by a number of local businesses in regard to employees using public transport to return to work and we can now offer some thoughts, ideas and responses with the following advice from our transport partners….

Stagecoach Update:- Stagecoach implemented an initial uplift of services from 31st May and, in conjunction with Merseytravel and Arriva, implemented further uplifts from 21st June, which will bring service levels up to approximately 80-85% of normal pre-covid levels. For week commencing 22 June, use the links below for full details of the timetables which will be operating and the lates service updates:

Knowsley Council is also looking at the public transport routes that are critical to businesses, town centres, visitors etc.  The Council is seeking feedback from local businesses in relation to which services are vital, which should be improved etc.  We know that many local companies are looking at their shift patterns, and staggering employee start and finish times to try to alleviate road traffic congestion on some of the busier road networks in Knowsley, so please use this opportunity so that it can be considered as part of this scoping exercise. Send your comments to me via email to:  lmw@knowsleychamber.org.uk
