Do you have spare space to help Greenbank?

Greenbank is a charity offering education, training, employment, sport and recreation services to disabled and disadvantaged people across Merseyside and the North West.

The Greenbank Project, in partnership with the North West Training Council, have developed a sports electric wheelchair that allows a severely disabled person to play the fast and fun game of power hockey. The chair is the first chair in the world that enables a disabled person to fire a hockey ball at the press of a button from a full contact power wheelchair.

In an effort to ensure the chairs are affordable to disabled players and clubs all over Britain, the North West Training Council (NWTC) has supported this project by offering rent-free factory space. Sadly, the NWTC are moving to new premises, which does not have the space to accommodate the on-going production of the Power Hockey Chairs.

CAN YOU HELP? Greenbank would be very grateful to hear from anyone who may have spare capacity within their facility or an empty unit of circa 1,500sq.ft. (with three phase electricity), who would be willing to support the continuation of this valued service.

Please contact Peter Wyman on 07733 930 221 or via email to Peter.Wyman@greenbank.org.uk if you are interested in supporting this very worthwhile cause/sport and change the lives of young disabled people.
