Spring Arrives at Acorn Farm

We are indeed in unusual times and the world finds itself in a very unusual circumstances where many businesses have stopped and many doors are closed. Stories of life continuing a normal provide a little ray of sunshine and give us hope for a return to ‘normality’ in the near future.

The team at Acorn Farm (which is of course closed at he moment) have provided an update on Spring arriving at the farm as they continue to keep the farm ticking-over by caring for the plants and animals on site, ready for visitors when it becomes safe to do so once more.

Over the last month Acorn Farm has seen their Ewes give birth to 17 adorable lambs…

The team are doing a live post each day on their Facebook page so that visitors can’t come to see them ‘virtually’ and so the team can bring a little bit of the farm to their visitors.

It’s not just the animals that are providing a glimpse of Spring. The plants on the farm are growing really well too and the Farm is hoping that they will be permitted to sell them before too long.

As soon as there are developments on that front, Acorn Farm will keep everyone updated.

Acorn Farm need your support more than ever at these difficult times. In order for them to keep the Farm operational until they can open again. Visit the Farm website for more information.
