Support Nugent this Christmas

Nugent are calling upon socially minded businesses to help them provide some much needed festive cheer to the vulnerable adults and children in their care. Their ambition is to ensure that they all have a wholesome and dignified Christmas. They have a fabulous partnership brochure filled with festive ideas about how your business can help this Christmas.

Can you help with their ambitions:

  • 150 teddy bears and selection boxes (or something similar)
  • 210 Food hampers – containing everything needed put on a scrumptious Christmas spread – not forgetting the Brussels sprouts and the mince pies! We will also be looking to source all the essentials our beneficiaries will need to get them through Christmas.
  • 150 pieces of winter clothing – hats, scarfs and jumpers
  • Bundles of toiletries

With many of their volunteers/staff shielding and the lockdown curtailing our traditional collections, the team are in need of businesses who can commit to providing larger bundles of goodies and/or cash donations. If you are in a position to help please let them know.

In addition, they have organised a bevy of festive fundraising activities for you and your colleagues to take part in this Christmas. From decking your desk to donning best (or worst!) Christmas jumper – there is something for everyone and you’ll be helping a very worthy cause.

Thanks to the generosity of our growing community of donors and supporters, we are able to help and support individuals such as:

Molly, who fled her home with her children due to domestic violence. The local authority were quick to rehome Molly but her and her children found themselves without beds. We were able to provide new beds and duvets for all the family.

Your help would be incredibly appreciated and make a tremendously positive impact – whether it be a donation, idea or simply helping us spread the word. If you would like to become a Nugent Christmas Hero, and help us support those in need at a time when they need us most, then please get in touch.
