Two new hires at J&R as growth continues

Liverpool-based digital marketing agency J&R celebrates its 15-month of operation with two new staff hires. Both New Business Executive Aaron Fontenot and Content Marketing Executive Amber Jones Eddy join J&R after completing placements through training programme Agent Academy and The Torus Foundation’s ILM Scheme.

Aaron Fontenot will be in charge of building business relationships and expanding J&R’s client list and Content Marketing Executive Amber Jones Eddy will be assisting Content Director and Founder Ruth Hartnoll in the delivery of outstanding content.

Both new hires have been placed through Torus Foundation’s ILM scheme, an Access to Work programme for 16 – 29-year-olds. The programme benefits businesses and individuals alike,  allowing candidates to develop their skills, experience a workplace environment, and take part in both vocational and accredited training; as well as giving small businesses the opportunity to expand their team. With the help of ILM placements, young people are able to acquire the tools that they need to start their career journeys.

Agent Academy, established by Agent Marketing Founder Paul Corcoran, is a programme which aims to support young people into a career in the digital, creative and tech sectors. Run as an intensive 12-week programme, participants are given the opportunity to work on a live brief, network with peers and discover opportunities within the creative sector.

Ruth Hartnoll, J&R’s Content Director, had this to say; “I’m so excited to welcome both my new team members to our growing team. I’m a firm believer in supporting people early on in their career and both Agent Academy and the Torus Foundation have been integral to our growth. We’ve achieved so much in such a short space of time and I’m excited for what the future holds. With a new Director appointment on the cards for 2020 I’m proud to have grown the team from just myself to four people in a matter of months.”
