TWO WEEKS OF LOVE THIS VALENTINE’S DAY COURTESY OF DUTCH FLOWER SHOP

Dutch Flower Shop has kick-started two weeks of amorous celebrations in the run up to Valentine’s Day.

The renowned florist began its countdown to the most romantic day of the year by hosting a red-rose giveaway in Liverpool’s Commercial District in a bid to spread the love to city-centre dwellers and corporates alike.

As part of the affiliation, the florist is also hosting an pop-up shop at 20 Chapel Street on Wednesday 13 and Thursday 14 February, allowing Business District residents, workers and passers by the chance to box off their Valentine’s Day blooms easily and efficiently.

Owner of Dutch Flower Shop Loraine Whittle said: “We’re always thinking of ways to offer our clients the simplest way to shop, whether it’s online, in store or over the phone, so we were delighted when we were approached by Savills to launch our pop-up space in the heart of one of Liverpool’s busiest areas. We had so much fun launching our collaboration with our red rose giveaway and are thrilled that so many people have had the chance to share the love with us already.

“We’re now coming into our 40th year in business and this Valentine’s Day is set to be our busiest yet. With this in mind, we are preparing to order our biggest delivery of red roses since our establishment and are set to see over 7,000 individual roses leave our shop between now and February 14.”

As part of Dutch Flower Shop’s extensive range, it will be offering a consortium of roses alongside traditional bouquets, ‘Preserved Roses’ lasting for over a year.

Loraine added: “Valentine’s Day is certainly a time for celebration for the Dutch Flower Shop team. Not only is it arguably the busiest time of year for a florist, it’s also given us the chance to reflect on our extensive history and reflect on some of our favourite romantic bouquets, notable clients and events to name a few.

“What’s more, we’ll be sharing some of our favourite flashbacks on social media pages in the run-up to February 14, so make sure to give us a follow if you’d like to share some love with us!”
