Pirates and Princesses Family Fun Walk
Saturday 23rd March 2019 Starting at the Isla Gladstone, Stanley Park (Registration from 10.30am, 11.15am Start)
Join us for an amazing opportunity to get together with friends and family and tackle our brand new walk around Stanley Park to raise vital funds for Woodlands Hospice. Choose whether you’re going to be a swashbuckling pirate or a fairy tale princess and set sail to join us for a fun, family day out. The route is approximately 5k and suitable for the whole family! (Dogs are welcome but must be kept on a lead and the route is accessible for pushchairs).

YOUR Distance – Challenge Event for 2019
Fancy a challenge, but don’t know where to start? Feel daunted by long distances or high fundraising targets? Struggling to fit training in to your daily routine? Woodlands Hospice’s YOUR Distance challenge could be the one for you! YOUR Distance is a virtual challenge which allows you to pick what, where, when and how you complete your challenge. Simply set yourself a goal and as long as you reach your target within 2019, you’ll be awarded a Woodlands Hospice Certificate and Medal. All we ask in return is that you raise at least £20 in sponsorship for completing your challenge and you keep us updated with your progress.
So, perhaps you want to run a 5k in one go round your local park? Or maybe you’d want to complete the distance by taking a walk round the block each day – it’s completely in your hands!
