White Moss Horticulture is the leading manufacturer of quality compost and growing media, made from recycled green materials, making our products environmentally friendly and excellent value for money. White Moss Horticulture processes thousands of tonnes of green waste every year which would have previously been lost to landfill. The green waste is shredded, formed into windrows and composted to PAS100 and CQP specification during a 10 week process. It is then matured, screened and blended into quality composts, manufactured Top-Soils or mulches to be either bagged through our own bagging facilities or sold in bulk to local and national customers.
White Moss Horticulture provides green waste processing services to Local Authorities and Waste Management companies. We offer a true value added recycling service and ensure the best possible service and value.
We also work closely with local landscapers offering attractive green waste gate fees enhancing and promoting the recycling element of our business, whilst offering competitive prices for compost and soils.
White Moss Horticulture offer a number of products, available for collection, that can be bought in bulk including Compost, Top Soil, Soil Improver and Mulch.
We offer a contract bagging opportunity for customers that do not have the facilities themselves. Our fully automatic bagging facility in Kirkby is suitable for the making of, among other things, pillow and side-folding bags from polyethylene rolls. The unique dosing system allows recipes to be inputted ensuring accurate dosage based on a volume. A wide variety of materials can be carefully dosed and bagged, before finally being palletised to the customers’ requirements.
