An Hour for Others (AHFO), a respected community charity dedicated to supporting vulnerable individuals and families, is recruiting a Development Manager to help shape the organisation’s future growth and sustainability.
The charity is seeking a passionate and experienced professional to lead the development of funding opportunities, strengthen partnerships, and support the delivery of life-changing services across the region.
Operating under the motto “Together We Are Strong”, An Hour for Others continues to make a significant difference in communities by tackling loneliness, supporting wellbeing, and providing practical help to those who need it most. The new Development Manager will play a crucial role in ensuring the charity can continue to expand its reach and impact.
About the Role
The successful candidate will be responsible for planning and delivering charity events while identifying and securing funding opportunities from trusts, foundations, corporate partners and statutory bodies.
Key responsibilities include:
- Developing and submitting high-quality funding proposals and grant applications.
- Building strong relationships with funders and stakeholders.
- Creating a sustainable and evidence-led income pipeline.
- Supporting the charity’s growth through strategic development initiatives and fundraising activities.
