Lyndale Cancer Support Centre
Lyndale Cancer Support Centre provides support to people affected by Cancer, their family and friends. Our services include one-to-one support, group support and activities, complementary therapies, relaxation sessions for men and women, yoga, beauty therapies, craft group, art and computer classes etc. We have a Ramblers group which goes out once a month on a 3-4 mile walk, plus a culture rulture group visiting local historical sites and the theatre. Willowbrook Hospice
Willowbrook Hospice is a specialist palliative care unit based in Prescot providing quality care and support for our patients, their families and the communities of St Helens and Knowsley. We offer short term care, usually a couple of weeks, for patients with complex needs with referrals accepted on this basis. It is imperative to us to ensure that our patients are cared for in the best possible way, in their preferred place of care, wherever that may be. Patients admitted to our specialist ward will have the benefit of care from a highly skilled team, including complex discharge planning support.

Young Adult Respite Service
Mission Statement – ‘Creating positive change through interaction and activities in the
lives of young disabled adults.’
The aim of the project is to offer a service in the community and group (8 – 12 people) residential breaks to Merseyside young disabled adults (aged 16 – 30). To have a service in Knowsley that is specific for young disabled adults, a group usually caught in-between children and adult services.
