LIVERPOOL CITY REGION EXPORT SUPPORT
The new Liverpool City Region Export Support is a programme that is funded by the UK Shared Prosperity Fund (UKSPF) and offers export support to those businesses that have already established export links or those who are new to exporting.

The programme aims to connect a business to a broader local, regional, and national export support ecosystem. A free business diagnostic is undertaken by a specialist exporter advisor, which will result in an export action plan. The action plan will help to identify barriers, market opportunities, research needs and export funding requirements.

Those companies that have funding requirements will be referred to the LCR Business Growth Platform for consideration for export grants (that might be available up to January 2025).

TRADE HELP DESK
Companies in membership of Knowsley Chamber can access a free trade help desk for support, assistance, and extra reassurance when dealing with international trade. The service is designed to answer enquiries that can be dealt with in under ten minutes.

For example:
• Shipping requirements for a given country
• CPC codes
• INCOTERMS
• Duty and tax payment calculation
• Confirmation of requirements for proof of export

We partner with the Department for Business and Trade NW to help businesses looking to sell overseas to access support and advice. The DBT offers a range of services to boost export opportunities – first time exporters can gain the knowledge and skills to take advantage of overseas opportunities via events, advice and export masterclasses.
