Flourish & Succeed CIC – led by Michael Fielding MBE, is a grassroots organisation at the heart of Knowsley, dedicated to improving lives and building stronger communities. Founded and led by Michael Fielding MBE, a former professional footballer with over 30 years’ experience supporting hard-to-reach groups, our mission is simple but powerful: together we flourish.

We provide safe, welcoming spaces where people can connect, share, and rebuild. Our work spans men’s and women’s mental health groups, recovery programmes, children’s activities, and family wellbeing initiatives. Each project is designed to tackle real issues in our community — from isolation and poor mental health to food poverty and addiction.

Key highlights include:

• Men’s & Women’s Support Groups – tackling loneliness and breaking stigma around mental health.
• Children & Families Programmes – football sessions, SEND activities, and parent & child breakfast clubs.
• Community Food Hub – helping families in need with dignity and care.
• Recovery Support – tailored groups for those overcoming alcohol dependency.

The impact has been life-changing. Parents and children gain safe spaces to belong, individuals battling mental health or addiction find hope and peer support, and families struggling with hardship are supported with compassion.

Michael’s leadership and lived experience are central to our impact. From receiving an MBE for services to the community to overcoming his own health battles, his journey inspires trust and resilience across our groups.
