Spotlight Drug Sessions

With a focus on one individual substance, what it is, how it is used, its effects and risks. Ideal for staff who just want to upskill around a specific topic and are short on time. (1 hour)

Basic Drug Awareness

A look at the different categories of substances with a focus on the most commonly used in the UK. We focus on method of use, effects and the risks involved. Useful for any staff who work with adults who may be affected by substances in any setting. (3 hour)

Impact Family Offer

Overview of the impact service for any adults who have contact with children who have been impacted by a persons substance use from age 5-17 years. (1 hour)

Naloxone Training

Delivered to staff of how to administer Naloxone and potentially save a life to reverse the effects of an overdose.

Exploring what the term means, its principles, why we use it and how it can be implemented into services. Useful for any staff who are working with active substance use including residential settings.

Recognising and Challenging Stigma

Looking at how alcohol and substance misuse is stigmatised, the impact of stigma and how staff can move past this. (90 mins)

What’s the Score

An introduction and instruction on how to use and complete a substance screening tool aimed at professionals who work with children aged 13-17 years. (90mins)

Identification and Brief Advice (IBA)

How to identify risky and hazardous alcohol use and the appropriate advice to give, including appropriate referral. Useful for any staff working with alcohol use at any point of care planning. (3hours)
