Primary Care Knowsley, in partnership with Knowsley Chamber and Working Well, recently launched the “Keep to the Beat” campaign aimed at improving employee health across local businesses.

This initiative offered free blood pressure checks directly at workplaces, providing an accessible way for employees to monitor their heart health. The campaign emphasised early detection of hypertension, raising awareness about the importance of regular checks, and integrating health services into everyday business life.

Out of 134 participants, a significant number showed elevated blood pressure, with 13 requiring prompt medical attention. This highlighted the vital role that workplace health screenings could play in identifying potential health issues early. Participants also received personalised advice, ongoing support, and access to resources to help them manage their health.
