easyJet has today announced the launch of two new routes from Liverpool John Lennon Airport to Girona and Murcia in Spain, providing customers across the North West and North Wales with even more choice for their summer holidays next year.
This will be the first time in easyJet’s history that the airline has operated a route to Girona from the UK, with the launch of flights from Liverpool commencing on 28th March 2027 and operating twice a week on Wednesdays and Sundays.
Flights to Murcia will commence on 29th March 2027 with flights departing twice a week on Mondays and Fridays.
Girona, in north-eastern Spain, provides an ideal option for customers looking to discover Catalonia, with its historic old town, medieval architecture and renowned food scene. The city is also well positioned for visitors looking to explore the wider region and enjoy the beaches of the Costa Brava.
The new Murcia service will provide holidaymakers with a convenient connection to south-east Spain, offering access to the region’s popular coastal resorts and providing another option for customers looking for a Spanish sunshine getaway.
Both new routes are on sale from today at easyJet.com and via the easyJet mobile app.
easyJet holidays is also offering package holidays, combining flights and hotel accommodation. All packages include Ultimate Flexibility, offering customers the freedom to amend or cancel their booking, as well as a refund guarantee and best price guarantee.
