Liverpool John Lennon Airport (LJLA) is celebrating the arrival of easyJet’s ninth aircraft to be based at Liverpool, marking another significant milestone in the airline’s continued growth in the North West and supporting hundreds of direct and indirect jobs.

The arrival of the 186-seat Airbus A320 aircraft further strengthens easyJet’s presence in Liverpool and enables the airline to provide even greater choice and connectivity for customers across the region.

The celebrations come as easyJet launches two inaugural flights to Seville and Naples, with the new routes providing customers with direct access to two of southern Europe’s most vibrant and culturally rich destinations.

From the historic streets, world-famous tapas and year-round sunshine of Seville, to the stunning coastline, renowned cuisine and gateway to the Amalfi Coast offered by Naples, the new routes provide holidaymakers with even more opportunities to explore some of Europe’s most sought-after destinations.

The arrival of the ninth aircraft reflects easyJet’s continued investment in Liverpool and the wider North West, where demand for both flights and package holidays continues to grow. The additional aircraft will support increased connectivity, customer choice and operational resilience from the airport.
