We’re really excited to announce that our GMI Construction Cares DIY Skills Workshop is returning this October, taking place on 27thand 28th October at IAMTech – Knowsley Community College , 599 Princess Drive , Liverpool L14 9ND
This will be our 2nd Construction Cares workshop in Knowsley within 3 months, and the programme is something we are very proud of Over the Two days, participants will have the opportunity to develop practical DIY and construction skills, build confidence, meet new people and take their first steps towards a career in construction.
There will also be an opportunity following the workshop to progress onto CSCS card training, helping participants move closer to securing employment within the industry.
We’ve seen some fantastic success stories from previous Construction Cares workshops, with participants progressing into training, interviews, apprenticeships and employment. The support and collaboration of our partners have played a huge part in making these outcomes possible.
How to get involved
Places are limited and will be offered on a first come, first served basis to Care Experienced young people and Knowsley residents., so we encourage anyone interested to register as soon as possible.
