Local family support charity Home-Start Knowsley is calling on local businesses and individuals to join their efforts in transforming the lives of neurodiverse children and their families through their latest fundraising initiative: the Big Give Christmas Challenge 2025.

The campaign, titled “Piece by Piece – Supporting Neurodiverse Families,” aims to raise £30,000 to expand the charity’s life-changing Jigsaw Project. This vital service offers emotional and practical support to families of children with complex needs across Knowsley, many of whom are facing significant challenges in accessing services and maintaining wellbeing.

To unlock match funding and double the impact of public donations, Home-Start Knowsley is now seeking £7,500 in pledges from local businesses, organisations, and individuals. Pledges start from as little as £100 and will only be collected after the campaign in December – and only if the charity successfully meets its public fundraising target.

As a trusted community partner, Home-Start Knowsley is encouraging local organisations to demonstrate their commitment to corporate social responsibility by becoming a campaign pledger. In return, the charity will publicly acknowledge each supporter and collaborate on opportunities to highlight their involvement throughout the campaign period.
