The Story Behind the Lens. For over 15 years, James has seen the world through a viewfinder. While many in the Knowsley business community may know him as the face of StackMedia, his journey began on the high-octane sets of major television productions.
Starting in the camera department before transitioning to a specialized TV Stills Photographer, James has captured the essence of some of the UK’s most-watched content. From the gritty drama of BBC’s The Cage and This City is Ours (Series 1 & 2) to the high-pressure environment of live broadcasts like Comic Relief and BBC Sports Personality of the Year, his portfolio reads like a “Who’s Who” of the entertainment world.
Bringing the Big Screen to Small Business
After years of balancing freelance TV work with a growing passion for helping local brands, James launched StackMedia. The goal was simple: take the professional standards of the TV Industry and make them accessible to businesses right here in Knowsley.
“Knowsley is a unique hub,” says James. “It’s forward-thinking and growing, with a brilliant mix of enterprises. I wanted to use my experience to help these businesses tell their stories with the same visual impact you’d see on a streaming service or a national press release.”
