The Prescot School Year 9 Mock Interview Day offers pupils a realistic and valuable experience of a formal interview with a real employer. Each student will be given an individual time slot to participate in a one‑to‑one interview, helping them to build confidence and develop essential communication skills.
In the lead‑up to the event, pupils receive dedicated lesson time to learn interview etiquette, practise responses, and prepare thoughtful questions. This experience arrives at a crucial point as students begin considering their GCSE options, making employer involvement especially impactful.
We are seeking a range of employers who can commit to the full day (8:30am–3:00pm) to conduct interviews. Suggested interview questions can be provided, and we welcome employers who can offer supportive feedback and insight into the expectations of the working world.
Lunch and refreshments will be provided for all attending employers.
