Innovate Volunteering CIC is proudly born and bred in Knowsley, and we’re passionate about creating real, lasting impact where we live and work. As a Community Interest Company, we’re rooted in people, purpose, and place, and now, we are inviting Knowsley’s businesses to join us in building stronger, healthier, and more connected communities.

Three powerful ways for your organisation to grow its people, enhance its purpose, and give back locally, all while meeting your social value, CSR, and employee wellbeing goals.

  1. The Hub Takeover: A Team-Building Experience with Purpose

Looking for a team away day that does more than tick boxes? The Hub Takeover at Manor Farm Community Hub offers a hands-on, heart-led experience that immerses your team in the real-life running of a busy community space.

For a half or full day, your team will step into the roles of charity shop staff, café helpers, and community hosts, all while taking part in bespoke team challenges designed to build connection, creativity, and community understanding.

What’s included?

  • Real community interaction: Run our charity shop and café, serve customers, and support locals.
  • Team challenges: Take part in fun but meaningful challenges including:
    • Fundraising Task: Raise as much as you can through in-shop efforts.
    • Footfall Challenge: Find creative ways to bring more people into the hub.
    • Sustainability Challenge: Develop ideas to keep the hub thriving for years to come.
  • Reflection session: Explore what the experience has taught you about leadership, empathy, and collaboration.

What your team gets:

  • Stronger communication and teamwork
  • A renewed sense of purpose and connection
  • A deeper understanding of community needs
  • Delivery on social value and corporate responsibility

Whether it’s a new team, a department re-group, or a morale boost, the Hub Takeover will leave your staff inspired, and your business proud.
