February has been a big and brilliantly busy month for Kirkby Coffee- a month filled with celebration, community and continued growth.

This February marks six years in business, a milestone that means the world to the team. From their early days trading in Kirkby Market, serving regulars who quickly became friends, to expanding their offer with the purchase of their mobile coffee trailer, the journey has been one of hard work, passion and community spirit.

The trailer has been a real game‑changer for the team. It’s allowed them to take Kirkby Coffee out into the wider area, meeting new faces, supporting more local organisations and becoming part of events right across the region. The opportunities it has opened from new partnerships, new locations, and a growing network of local businesses have been absolutely priceless.

This February Kirkby Coffee teamed up with Hot Curl Pilates to support their community Galentine’s event, where they served up a selection of protein shakes to keep guests fuelled through two completely sold‑out sessions. It was a brilliant collaboration with Bibs and a reminder of just how powerful it is when young female business owners support one another. Moments like these are at the heart of what community really looks like.

Keeping the February festivities going, the team were thrilled to have the trailer at the Lunar New Year celebrations in Liverpool City Centre. It was a full‑on, high‑energy day of nonstop orders, new customers, familiar faces and some of the best atmosphere we’ve ever experienced at a community event. Being invited to play a part in such a vibrant cultural celebration was not only an honour but a highlight of their year so far.

As they reflect on six years of serving up coffee, conversation and community, they are incredibly grateful for the continued support from customers, local partners and fellow small businesses. All of the team at Kirkby Coffee can’t wait to see what the next chapter brings and look forward to further collaborations across Knowsley and beyond.
