Knowsley Chamber has marked a year of growth, collaboration, and community impact at its 36th Annual General Meeting, reaffirming its position as a leading force in supporting businesses and driving economic prosperity across the borough.

“Our mission is to be in the best possible position to support and champion our businesses through connectivity, knowledge and strong relationships with key stakeholders,” Rachel Peak, Chief Executive said, “A key way in which we achieve this is collaboration and a unique example of this is through our co-location with Knowsley Council’s Business Growth team under the Invest Knowsley ‘One Front Door’ model. My role as both Chief Executive of Knowsley Chamber and Head of Business Growth at Knowsley Council has been in place for 11 years now to co-ordinate the approach and is based firmly on Better Together principles. This approach continues to ensure that businesses receive coordinated, high-quality and ease of support.’’

During 2025 the Chamber welcomed more than 70 new members, alongside two new strategic partners TCD Energy and Liverpool John Moores University who join Bathgate Business Finance, PrivilegeHR, ABGi and Liverpool Hope University. The Chamber also delivered a vibrant and diverse programme of more than 30 events, including well established sector-specific forums, networking sessions, and a range of complementary workshops designed to upskill local businesses and foster collaboration.

Also this year, Knowsley Chamber reaffirmed its commitment to strengthening support for its expanding membership, announcing a growth in its team to ensure the Chamber continues to connect, represent, and serve businesses effectively . The Chamber also highlighted its long-standing role as delivery partner for the Working Well programme, funded by Knowsley Public Health and delivered by Knowsley Chamber since 2011, which continues to play a vital role in enhancing the health and wellbeing of the borough’s workforce.

The array of prestigious awards and milestones received by an array of Chamber members this year showed the strength of collaboration across Knowsley’s business community, its resilience, ambition, and collective drive for economic growth.

Last year the Chamber launched a Youth Chamber initiative aimed at raising aspiration and awareness. In 2025 it welcomed new schools into membership worked to build strong relationships with them, colleges and higher education providers. Looking ahead, the Chamber intends to broaden the Youth Chamber’s reach even further.

Reflecting on the Chamber’s governance, the organisation highlighted the invaluable contribution of its Board of Directors in providing robust governance and scrutiny. The Board will continue to play a vital role in 2026 by ensuring the Chamber’s voice remains strong and influential on key business matters through regular engagement with stakeholders.
