Ley Rubber, is moved to share a heartfelt moment from the FA Cup Final that has captured national attention.

During the final at Wembley Stadium, Crystal Palace celebrated a historic victory, made all the more poignant for two local brothers, Dominic and Nathan Wealleans. Before kick-off, a giant TIFO was unveiled, depicting the brothers as children celebrating with their late father, Mark Wealleans, following Palace’s League Cup triumph over Manchester United in 2011.

Mark Wealleans was not only a devoted Crystal Palace supporter but also the former Managing Director of Ley Rubber. His unwavering passion for both the football club and the family business left an indelible mark on colleagues and community alike. The touching tribute resonated deeply with the Ley Rubber team and the Wealleans family, symbolising a lasting legacy.

Since the match, Dominic and Nathan have shared their emotional story on prominent platforms, including Good Morning Britain and BBC. Most recently, Sport Talk visited Ley Rubber’s Knowsley site to film a special segment reflecting on this memorable tribute.
