Our mission at Nexus Insight Academy is to empower employers to create a workplace culture that supports a holistic approach to the psychological well-being of employees.

According to the Mental Health Foundation, one in six employees experiences mental ill health annually. The causes of mental ill health are not always linked to work so, employers must have a holistic approach to well-being in the workplace.

Evidence shows that employers who reduce stigma and enhance management skills around workplace well-being, help their employees stay productive and remain at work.  Employers who actively support workplace well-being and create a safe, supportive environment can foster positive employment relations and realise significant business benefits. These include improved staff retention, reduced absenteeism and increased employee engagement, all resulting in higher productivity levels.

Various social risk factors can impact employee well-being.  We offer our specialist domestic abuse and mental health training programs designed to enhance the knowledge of general employees and workplace welfare champions and equip HR staff and line managers with the skills to recognise and respond appropriately to domestic abuse and mental health.

We offer:

  • 2 hour Healthy Relationship Education and Domestic Abuse Awareness Workshop, for General Employees.
  • CPD accredited Domestic Abuse Workplace Training for Domestic Abuse Champions and/or Workplace Welfare Champions.
  • Mental Health First Aid Training – MHFA.
  • Domestic Abuse and Mental Health policy review and compilation service
  • Signposting service that connects employees with local and national support resources.
