Cyclists are being encouraged to get their bikes ready for the darker months as MerseyCycle hosts a special Halloween-themed Dr. Bike session at Court Hey Park later this month.
Taking place on Wednesday 28 October, the free event will begin at 11.30am and offers cyclists the opportunity to have their bikes checked by experienced mechanics, with minor repairs carried out on site at no cost.
The session is designed to help people keep their bicycles safe, roadworthy and ready to ride, while also promoting active travel and healthier lifestyles across the Liverpool City Region.
As places are limited, booking is essential. Anyone wishing to attend should reserve their place by emailing MerseyCycle@gmail.com.
The event is free to attend and provides an excellent opportunity for cyclists of all ages and abilities to receive expert advice, ensure their bike is in good working order and enjoy a community-focused cycling event in the lead-up to Halloween.
