Knowsley-based passive fire protection specialist, SGD Fire Protection, has announced its support for Cash for Kids Mission Christmas 2026, reinforcing the company’s ongoing commitment to community engagement and social responsibility.
From Monday 2nd November 2026, SGD Fire Protection will become an official gift donation drop-off point, inviting individuals, businesses and organisations across the Liverpool City Region to contribute to the annual charitable campaign.
Organised by Cash for Kids, Mission Christmas aims to ensure that children and young people experiencing poverty and financial hardship receive a gift on Christmas morning. The campaign relies on the generosity of local communities and businesses to support families facing challenging circumstances during the festive period.
As part of its involvement, SGD Fire Protection will utilise its Huyton headquarters as a central collection point, encouraging employees, clients, supply chain partners and the wider business community to contribute gifts or make financial donations in support of the initiative. The announcement reflects SGD Fire Protection’s established approach to corporate social responsibility, with community investment and social value embedded within the company’s wider business strategy.
Georgia Davidson, Managing Director at SGD Fire Protection, commented:
“At SGD Fire Protection, we recognise the importance of using our position as a growing business to make a meaningful contribution to the communities in which we operate.
Supporting Mission Christmas provides an opportunity to bring together our employees, clients, supply chain partners and wider business network behind a cause that will make a genuine difference to local children and families. We understand that the festive period can place additional financial pressures on households, and no child should have to miss out on the excitement of Christmas because of circumstances beyond their control.
By establishing our headquarters as an official gift drop-off point, we hope to encourage widespread participation and demonstrate what can be achieved when businesses and communities work together towards a shared purpose.”
Since its establishment in 2022, SGD Fire Protection has continued to expand its social value activities alongside its commercial growth, supporting a range of charitable organisations, community projects, educational initiatives and employee wellbeing programmes.
The company’s participation in Mission Christmas builds on this commitment, further demonstrating its focus on delivering measurable social impact and supporting those most in need.
SGD Fire Protection is encouraging businesses and individuals across Knowsley and the wider Liverpool City Region to participate in the campaign by donating gifts at its Huyton headquarters from Monday 2nd November 2026. Financial contributions can also be made directly to the campaign using the donation QR code featured across SGD Fire Protection’s official communications.
